Now gone solo, after leaving her band of seven years, &#8220;I Kissed Charles&#8221;, the singer has thrown herself into her music in a big way, and cites her influences as The Naked and Famous, Charli XCX, Icona Pop and Ellie Goulding.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The influence of 80s electro pop is immediately evident upon first listening to her music, with her song &#8220;Sounds of the City&#8221; reminding us of 80s girl groups like Bananarama, The GoGos and the Bangles.<\/p>\n<p><script async
