Milky Chance first broke onto the scene 2013, with the music video for their single, ‘Stolen Dance’. That release set them on track for a decade long journey which saw them have more than 6 billion streams, many platinum certifications, chart topping singles, and three critically acclaimed long player albums. They’ve kept on track, with last year’s single, ‘Colorado’ becoming a massive radio hit, and garnering more than 100 million streams so far. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You can’t hold this band back and their new single, ‘Synchronize’, should see them continue their success. While it’s a new era for Milky Chance, they’ve nonetheless stayed true to their eclectic, freewheeling style, and they stay true to the idiosyncratic and out-of-the-box music that their fans know and love so well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Synchronize’ is a funky electro-pop track that sits somewhere between nostalgia and future sounds. Filled with dreamy synths, feel-good lyrics, and a body-moving beat, the track has both sunshine and shade, while the music video evokes an even darker undertone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past few years Milky Chance have hit squarely on some of the most pressing feelings many have been dealing with, such as existential dread and sentimental idealism. The clip shows the band arriving in an apocalyptic town that for whatever reason seems to have been overrun by a ’60s themed cult. The group appears to move together in harmony, driven by love and compassion. This magical feeling is spread to Milky Chance, who are suddenly overtaken with the spirit of movement. The clip is both mesmerising and eerie, with everyone dancing together in sync to welcome the end of the world, and sharing the underlying message is that love can conquer our greatest fears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
