LNDN Sure Does!

Up and coming Vancouver Island artist LNDN takes a minimalist approach to pop music with his new single and video, ‘Life Like That’.

LNDN’s aim is to connect with fans through his art, and his music is composed of dreamlike, layered harmonies, which speak about themes of living authentically, as LNDN takes a stroll through the most important lessons in life.

With easy, free-flowing vocals, exemplifying the true beauty of music, LNDN fully submerges us into a state of peace, while the instrumentals keep us well grounded. LNDN helps us to journey through life, and in his song, ‘Life Like That’, he brings a lyrical honesty that transcends any ambition.

The music video for ‘Life Like That’ continues with the raw honesty, capturing it with long takes of the artist, as he moves forward to an unseen goal. Directed by Graham Dorsay, it serves as a visual representation of not just the song, but also our own deep feelings: the doubts, the questions, which we hold in our innermost selves. Are we are heading in the right direction? Can we properly navigate, and therefore fit into, those environments with which we are initially unfamiliar? The song takes its inspiration from LNDN’s struggles between moving from rural landscapes and bustling cities to laid-back coastal towns, and this is reflected in the video. A truly relatable song, ‘Life Like That’ is quirky on the surface, but LNDN’s powerful storytelling serves up plenty of truths.

Watch the clip for ‘Life Like That’
