That&#8217;s what makes his music so relatable; none more so than his new single, &#8216;Storm Coming&#8217;, with its moody, dreamlike qualities, which forecasts a future of either romance &#8211; or regret. The song, which is dedicated to Ethan&#8217;s friend and manager, the late Joe Cassidy, himself a musician of note, pays homage to Cassidy&#8217;s homeland of Ireland with its cascading guitar and Celtic undertones. Of course, the creator of &#8216;Earth City&#8217; is singing not just for his friend, but also for the fate of our Earth. His grief becomes too much, and sadness gives way to an almost shouted anger, with understated lyrics balancing deep spiritual inquiry.<br><br>Directed by Paul Khera, who was photographer and artist for Suede and other Brit Pop bands, the lyric video sees Ethan highlight the environmental message in a sequence of monochrome photos, expressing the juxtaposition between natural and manmade worlds. Gold leaves us with the mournful, final question: \u201cWhy did you wait so long?\u201d and we remain to contemplate what to do next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can find Ethan
