Formerly a band, it&#8217;s now Paddy&#8217;s solo project, and is heavily influenced by UB40 and Bob Marley. Decarta&#8217;s latest single, &#8216;Having A Party Tonight&#8217;, was released to celebrate the end of lockdown.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">After the band split up, guitarist Paddy honed his talents via a music course, hosted by Reggae star, Pato Banton. He also performed with a variety of musicians and bands. Paddy is working on an album of original music, and he recently appeared on a live Q&amp;A with UB40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">The upbeat and lively, &#8216;Having A Party Tonight&#8217;, is certainly a bop of a track, and was certainly written to be danced to. Decarta recorded the song in a local recording studio, and the real instruments ensured the creativity flowed during the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Although &#8216;Having A Party Tonight&#8217; was written a few years back, the Covid-19 Pandemic and subsequent lifting of lockdown gave the song new meaning.
