To celebrate the launch of Netflix\u2019s new blockbuster RED NOTICE, Hollywood superstar and Wrexham A.F.C. co-owner Ryan Reynolds surprised the Welsh market town with an exclusive first look at the film ahead of its public release.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Watch as Ryan hijacks some precious RED NOTICE promo time to take viewers behind the scenes and introduce a few of his favourite Wrexham acquaintances, including the Mayor of Wrexham, Councillor Ronnie Prince; the players and Wrex the Mascot at his beloved Wrexham A.F.C.; and legendary local bakery EmzCakes. He even gets a helping hand from Welsh ex-footballer and pundit Robbie Savage, who has a special message for Ryan\u2019s RED NOTICE co-stars \u2012 Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson and Gal Gadot.<\/p>\n

The activity follows hot on the heels of Ryan and co-owner Rob McElhenney\u2019s recent trip to watch Wrexham play their first home game since taking over the club. Working closely with local manufacturer and Wrexham A.F.C shorts sponsor, Ifor Williams, Netflix mounted a giant cinema screen to the back of a specially designed Ifor Williams trailer, screening an unseen clip from the film for the assembled crowds. The trailer, on a trailer, made its way around town, stopping at treasured local landmarks and businesses, the football club and even the Mayor\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

If you’ve not watched ‘Red Notice’ yet, you’re in for a treat! One part James Bond, another part Indiana Jones, it’s a laugh a minute with some high energy thrills and adventure.<\/p>\n

When an Interpol-issued Red Notice \u2014 the highest level warrant to hunt and capture the world\u2019s most wanted\u2014 goes out, the FBI\u2019s top profiler John Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) is on the case. His global pursuit finds him smack dab in the middle of a daring heist where he\u2019s forced to partner with the world\u2019s greatest art thief Nolan Booth (Ryan Reynolds) in order to catch the world\u2019s most wanted art thief, \u201cThe Bishop\u201d (Gal Gadot). The high-flying adventure that ensues takes the trio around the world, across the dance floor, trapped in a secluded prison, into the jungle and, worst of all for them, constantly into each other\u2019s company.<\/p>\n

The all star cast is joined by Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopolous. Directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, Skyscraper) and produced by Hiram Garcia, Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions, Beau Flynn\u2019s Flynn Picture Co. and Thurber\u2019s Bad Version, Inc., Red Notice is a stylish globe-trotting game of cat-and-mouse (and cat).<\/p>\n
