Irish band Picture This, performing at the O2 Academy in Brixton for their \u2018Life in Colour\u2019 tour, put on a high energy and extremely entertaining show with a mix of new album tracks and older favourites. Opened by the talented Lea Heart and New Rules, who clearly had plenty of fans in the audience, by the time Picture This came on stage, the crowd was very excitable already. The band came on with \u2018Things Are Different\u2019, a single from recent release \u2018Life in Colour\u2019 before performing \u2018You and I\u2019 and \u2018Never Change\u2019 from their eponymous first album.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Frontman Ryan Hennessy had seemingly endless energy, dancing and jumping around from the front song to the last. The band also connected very well with the crowd, walking through a clearly adoring audience during \u2018Saviour\u2019 and bantering with a group of fans after an Irish flag was thrown on stage. During an acoustic performance of \u2018Jane\u2019 with just Ryan Hennessy and his guitar on stage, the venue was lit up by phone lights and in between songs was plenty of chanting and cheering from fans.<\/p>\n

The band amped up the energy for their first closer \u2018Everything or Nothing\u2019 from their album \u2018MDRN LV\u2019 before coming back on stage for 3 more songs, \u2018Unconditional\u2019, a upbeat track that quickly had everyone back on their feet, \u2018When We Were Young\u2019 and finally closing with \u2018Take My Heart\u2019 from their first album which by the sound of it every single person in attendance knew the words to, before closing.<\/p>\n
