Dublin quartet Inhaler released their highly-anticipated debut album \u2018It Won\u2019t Always Be Like This\u2019 on Friday, July 9, on Interscope Records.\u00a0 Comprising singer and guitarist Elijah Hewson, bassist Robert Keating, guitarist Josh Jenkinson and drummer Ryan McMahon the four former schoolmates have made a record that takes in a dazzling array of sonic textures, huge, hooky choruses, and intricate, dynamic instrumentation. \u00a0\u2018It Won\u2019t Always Be Like This\u2019 is available to stream, download, and buy \u00a0HERE<\/u><\/a>.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Dublin based band have announced they will be performing at 4 intimate club dates this autumn in Nashville, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.\u00a0 Tickets are on sale now. The album shares its title with one of the group\u2019s early singles, whose\u00a0meaning has changed for the band over the past year, becoming something more hopeful in uncertain times.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a sense of optimism on this album and the song It Won\u2019t Always Be Like This is the main catalyst for that,\u201d says Hewson. \u201cWe kept coming back to that title.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Recorded with long-term collaborator and producer Antony Genn at London\u2019s Narcissus Studios, it\u2019s a coming-of-age record about losing yourself and finding yourself again, trying to make sense of the world when the world doesn\u2019t make much sense. It charts a path of sonic exploration, from the sweeping urgency of the title track and \u2018My Honest Face\u2019 to the lush synth-pop of \u2018Slide Out The Window\u2019 to the lithe, space-y grooves of \u2018A Night On The Floor\u2019. It is a debut of depth and colour.<\/p>\n

Inhaler will play an 18-date tour of the UK & Ireland later this year before heading to the states for their March 2022 North American headline tour.
