Nadia Vaeh) – ‘Front Row’

For the past ten years Michigan native Jen Fodor has worked in nearly every part of the entertainment business, from working alongside directors like Spike Jonze to creating her own podcast and being an incredible filmmaker in her own right. Jen’s latest film follows the incredible life of Howard Mordoh, aka The Dancing Man of LA. Those who’ve been to shows in LA may well remember him as the white-haired man as he spins and turns to the music. Jen’s latest project, ‘Front Row’, is dedicated to Howard, as well as every other music lover who’s missing live music – and features the incredible vocals of Nadia Vaeh.

The toe-tapping rhythms of ‘Front Row’ are so catchy that you’ll be humming it long after the song has finished. Packed with immense guitar riffs, smooth bass and synths that build up as the song progresses. The lyrics perfectly describe Howard: he’s just a carefree man who just wants to have fun at his concerts, and that’s exactly how this song feels. It’s a reminder to all of us concertgoers to just let go and enjoy the music.

No video about Howard Mordoh would be complete without the man himself, and it starts with him turning on his record player. The song comes alive as the the record crackles, and in time to the music Howard starts doing his famous twirls and dance moves, as he walks through the green room. Nadia and her bassist are sitting on couches singing and strumming, waiting to go on. Onstage Nadia gives a rocking live performance, featuring a solo by guitarist Britt Lightning from the ’80s band Vixen. Before we know it, Howard’s out in the front row giving it his all, bedecked in a sequined jacket. If you weren’t missing live shows before, you definitely will after watching this fantastic video.
