Taken from their second album, ‘Vesna’, released June 18, Grey Fields’ latest single, ‘Weather The Storm’ is a 60s influenced, dreamy piece that will have you floating back to the heady days of the Summer Of Love. If you weren’t there, you never were anywhere, but these guys certainly make it feel like we were.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A trio from Chicago, Grey Fields comprises Alex Dzamtovski on vocals, guitar, and keys, Adam Repp on bass and vocals, and John Polischuk on drums. They formed as Grey Fields in 2017, but they’ve been playing all over Chicago for the better part of 25 years. Their special blend of folk pop additionally includes classical structures, which can be heard in ‘Weather The Storm’.<\/p>\n

‘Weather The Storm’ is reminiscent of some of the more far out songs of The Beatles from the late 60s, or even Pink Floyd, with a bit of Canned Heat thrown in for good measure. The ten track ‘Vesna’ also features Yoed Nir, best known for his work with Regina Spektor, and Rufus Wainwright, performing on cello.<\/p>\n
