Alberto Tarin is a Spanish guitarist whose soulful music is warm and bright, and the perfect showcase for his immense talent. His new album, ‘Lovers Room’, comprises 12 gorgeous tracks, giving the Valencian artist the opportunity to also show off his skill as a vocalist; it also features a range of guest artists, including Fred Reiter, Frankie McCoy, Diana de Ram\u00f3n, and Payoh Soul Rebel.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Alberto makes good use of Spanish inspired riffs, and manages to include AfroAmerican and Caribbean sounds in his music as well.\u00a0 His smooth melodies are reminiscent of such artists as Paul Carrack and Michael Kiwanuka.<\/p>\n

Alberto Tarin was a member of\u00a0Seguridad Social from 1990 to 1996, and has performed with artists including Mecano, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Ry Cooder, Jeff Beck, and John Williams, to name a few. He’s also played with the New York Ska Jazz Ensemble, and with the Jazzin Reggae Band.<\/p>\n

Alberto has also performed at the Festival of Jazz in Montreux, New Music Seminary in New York, Zenith of Paris, Marquee of London and Roxy in LA. His new album sees him embrace a wide range of styles, and in so doing is able to display his incredible range.<\/p>\n
