Size doesn’t matter when you’ve got a commanding screen presence, it’s all about knowing how to project your ideas and character, and the rest will come shining through. Atlanta rapper Trap Commander knows all this to be true, and with the witty clip for his single, ‘He Hell’, he plays with scale and perspective and adjusts to the reality of modern video by shrinking himself down in size to that of an action figure. A small guy in a big city, he still manages to dominate the world around him by way of his sheer force of personality.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Tiny Trap Commander soon finds that his miniature size has its advantages. He’s able to drive his matchbox car down the aisles of a supermarket unnoticed, and he’s able to strap a beer bottle to the roof. He causes girls on the street to stop and look at him, while pedestrians fear him as he zips around their ankles. The mini version of Trap Commander has just as much swagger as his real-sized self.<\/p>\n

‘He Hell’ extends the sound and tone of his 2020 album, ‘A Trapper’s Ambition’, along with his ‘American Hustlertrap’ music projects. He’s energetic, funny, and literary, with echoes of the giants of Georgia trap music present in his grooves. His style might be reminiscent of others, yet his story and his way of looking at things are very much his own.<\/p>\n
