Parisian Producer and singer Myd has been described by HypeBeast as having a “slightly weird and wonderfully feel-good style.” A moustache and baseball hat are his trademarks, along with his constantly bemused expression, which tastefully corresponds to his eclectic take on indie electronic. No matter what he does – such as a recent collaboration with Mac DeMarco on an animated music video, ‘Moving Men’ – Myd’s genuine charisma, often played for comic effect, always shines through.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u00a0Myd takes finding inspiration in nature to a whole new level in the new music video for his latest single, ‘Let You Speak’. He and some of his friends have hand recorded every sound, tone, and texture on the track. The rush of a waterfall adds a soothing effect, performing inside a cave adds a nice reverb, and getting up close and personal with an alligator is worth it – if it gives you the right rumbling sound. Time is getting away, and his friends seem to be losing their patience with Myd’s ideas. Giving him one more chance, Myd says he has one last location which will complete the song’s production: a sea cave. Oblivious to the dangers within, they make their way into the cave. Suddenly, waves fill the space…and Myd wakes up on the shore…alone.<\/p>\n

The video then cuts to a label meeting with his team, with Myd dedicating the music video to his friends who didn’t make it. This doesn’t sit well with the team; an executive chastises him for trying to make light of the situation. While silence fills the room, the music continues in Myd’s head. Despite the tragedy, there are still ideas to be had.<\/p>\n
