After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2014, IAN SWEET, then known as Jillian Medford, put together a band to help build her dreamy pop sound. She parted ways with the band 4 years later, and started putting her attention into honing her craft. New single, &#8216;Sing Till I Cry&#8217;, is the latest in a series of highly anticipated releases.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Edgy and dreamy, this indie-pop masterpiece is more than just a pleasant listening experience; it&#8217;s like honey on bread; it&#8217;s smooth and sweet and delicious, with just a hint of sharpness. The raspy guitar chords take the song and smooth it into a full on rock ballad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There&#8217;s a confessional element to the song: just like the other tracks on &#8216;Show Me How You Disappear&#8217;, &#8216;Sing Till I Cry&#8217; has been cathartic for Jillian in allowing her to deal with past traumas, and to cope with anxiety. It takes a while, but once the words are out there, Jillian is flowing full force &#8211; honest, vulnerable, with a rhythm that will have you craving more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The clip for &#8216;Sing Till I Cry&#8217; is like an everchanging collage of colourful images, which start flashing in and out right from the very start. We see snippets of photos and videos of IAN SWEET herself throughout, but other than that, it\u2019s just pics of flowers, animals, and random imagery. The lyrics roll into the frame, colourful and bold, the entire effect giving us a look inside the multi-coloured world of IAN SWEET.
