\u2018ANCIENT DREAMS IN A MODERN LAND\u2019 marks MARINA\u2019s first full-length release since 2019\u2019s \u2018LOVE + FEAR\u2019. The self-penned new album also sees her co-producing six tracks alongside songwriter\/producer, James Flanigan (Dua Lipa, Carly Rae Jepsen, Hayley Kiyoko<\/em>), and GRAMMY\u00ae Award-nominated producer\/multi-instrumentalist, Jennifer Decilveo (Andra Day, Bat For Lashes, Hinds<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\u2018ANCIENT DREAMS IN A MODERN LAND\u2019 includes previously released track, \u2018Man\u2019s World<\/a>\u2019, written by MARINA in reaction to the startling statistics that only two percent of producers and three percent of engineers across popular music are women. The song was produced Decilveo, with co-production from MARINA and engineering by Emily Lazar (Sia, Clairo, Haim<\/em>), the first-ever female GRAMMY\u00ae\u00a0Award-winner for \u201cBest Engineered Album, Non-Classical\u201d. In addition, the track\u2019s companion video<\/a> and photography was helmed by an all-female creative team, led by acclaimed filmmaker\/photographers Alexandra Gavillet and Coughs.<\/p>\n
