Out tomorrow 16 April, ‘Anybody Home?’ is the latest single from Alabama based tropical house and EDM producer, DJ Rocstar. The track marks the return for the DJ, after a 20 year hiatus from his previous moniker of Heavy Roc, and allows him to vent his frustration about the terrorist attack on the US Capitol building, on January 6 this year.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Making good use of synths and 808 drums, DJ Rocstar takes his inspiration from the likes of Public Enemy, and Miami Sound Machine. The artist has previously worked with the likes of Tupac, and Lil Jon, but now he’s thrown himself wholly into Deep House, albeit with his own modern take on it.<\/p>\n

Rocstar begs the question, “What possibly could have happened” on his new single, his anger at the situation palpable. The instrumentation is catchy and very memorable, and should appeal not just to his existing fans but also to those who believe in justice and a better way of living.<\/p>\n
