Opening with a young boy riding his bicycle down a deserted country rode, there&#8217;s a deep sinister-ness about it all, despite his angelic face and the verdant forest. The boy drops his bike and runs into the forest, in such a sudden and deliberate moment that it&#8217;s immediately obvious that there&#8217;s something serious about to happen.<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Shot on location in Pennsylvania&#8217;s deep rural woodlands, the mystery continues to deepen, ending with an unexpected twist. The song itself is dreamlike, with of soft vocals, enticing synths, guitars and hypnotic beats. Additionally there is an added vocal sample on the chorus, which bears close resemblance to an exhalation of breath; the song is as spooky as the video.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Camera2 was founded by frontman multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Andy Chase, along with his good friend and frequent collaborator\u00a0Adam Schlesinger (best known for Fountains Of Wayne). Schlesinger died suddenly in the early days of the pandemic last year, and &#8216;Natalie&#8217; is the first track released by the group since his death. His presence is very much looming throughout the song.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to Chase and Schlesinger, Camera2 also contains members of Stellastarr* and Teddybears, and the group is strong and resilient; built to last.
