I loved it at first \u2013 the angst, the power, the energy \u2013 but simultaneously, I recall how boxed in I felt,\u201d says Zoe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThat day, I started a journey of self-discovery and healing. With that came new artistic expressions and new ways to feel and receive love. One day I came across Antonio Carlos Jobim\u2019s music, and I was swept away. I felt his soul through every note, and in that moment, I knew I had to make this album.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Freedom, sensuality and romance are the emotions which characterise Scott\u2019s first embarking into Bossa Nova &#8211; the twelve-track Odyssey of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shades of Love<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Enlisting help from Bossa Nova legend Moogie Canazio, Scott has delivered one of the most serene-sounding releases of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the 1960s, Antonio Carlos Jobim said, &#8220;The first recording of a song is the seed from which the song will grow.&#8221; On Shades of Love, Jobim&#8217;s grandson Daniel lent backup vocals to Zoe\u2019s rendition of Wave, bringing the seed to fruition once more for new audiences.
