The Org are MCs from Newark, New Jersey, and while the words they use are tough, and brutally realistic – and deeply intelligent – they make their love of God apparent in each verse, while declaring in every word that it comes from experience. Comprising B-Down, and 360, they speak about their daily battle for dignity and just getting by, and the longing they feel for the rebirth of their spirits, and to be blessed in eternity. Their new single, ‘Peace’, sees them work in verses from the Bible, along with prayers on the state of their immortal souls – not to forget a shout out to the Book of Philippians – while at the same time go hard with their tough and uncompromising flows, and their metaphors which have been taken directly from the hardcore rap textbook.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The video for ‘Peace’ sees The Org go down to the Springfield-Belmont neighbourhood of Newark, the dead centre of what is the largest city in Jersey. It opens in Penn Station, symbolic of the town’s rebirth, where B-Down is seen sleeping rough, and woken by a police officer. Crossing the Passaic River to find 360, the pair soon start their rhymes in front of another Newark landmark, The Red Bull soccer stadium. Here we have the backdrop to The Org’s storytelling, dramatically sharing the tale of the town they know best, in the beating heart of the Garden State.<\/p>\n
