A native of Ruby, South Carolina, Porsha has been heavily involved in music since childhood, singing in the church choir, and songwriting as a teenager. She developed – and defeated – colon cancer, and although it meant she had to put her promising career on pause, she picked it up again as soon as she had the all clear. Still maintaining her faith in God, who she believes got her through the difficult times, Porsha published her first book, ‘A Girl With A Troubled Life’, at the age of 18, to share her\u00a0strength with those that could be going through the same experiences. Now, Porsha has teamed up with the production company Fi-Water Music and producer Michael Brooks to get her music out to the masses, and ‘Genie In A Bottle’ is her latest R&B offering.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In the steamy music video for her new single, Porsha seduces the main character with her soulful R&B and ability to make his desires come true. He sees what he thinks is merely a children\u2019s toy; what it is really is a mystical carafe. By taking off the lid, he activates Porsha’s materialization, which leads to the twin emotions of confusion, and pleasant surprise.<\/p>\n

He quickly makes sure to take advantage of the time he has with genie Porsha, but every time he goes to touch her, she vanishes. She of course, didn’t really disappear, she just has other plans. She leads her man down the stairs to the bedroom to grant his wishes – or is that her intent? Suddenly, she vanishes once more, and the protagonist misses out.<\/p>\n
