A member of\u00a0 the CYN Crew, Niko Brim certainly has talent, and it&#8217;s seen in everything he does. He&#8217;s also got swagger, but these alone don&#8217;t make you a king. You also need to have a deep connection with those who&#8217;ve gone before, and for sure, all of his predecessors can be heard through Niko&#8217;s music, despite it being completely his own.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;BONITA&#8217; is a fine example of Niko&#8217;s sound,\u00a0 and it comes from his about to drop EP, &#8216;B4THETHRONE&#8217;, showcasing his lyrical skills, and unabashedly displaying his self-confidence. A rap chorus along with tight, self-assured verses overlaying a propulsive trap beat, Niko&#8217;s vocals leave nothing to chance as he trips out his rhymes with a deft verbal nuance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The clip for &#8216;BONITA&#8217;, directed by Shamell Mason, sees the rapper\u00a0living it up in the club, and gambling with the sort of assurance that comes only when you&#8217;re on a winning streak. Niko Brim is just as comfy in the bar as he is on the streets of his city, posing in front of a luxury car. Just as Mason&#8217;s cinematography connects the young emcee with iconic rappers: the lighting, the tight-angle shots, the feel of the nightclub, the narrow walls, and the expensive ride are all suggestive of hip-hop royalty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new single follows on from Niko&#8217;s work with 93 year old civil rights activist, Opal Lee, and the track, &#8216;Hard To Believe&#8217;, which launched a broadside against systemic racism.
