Uruguayan rock band Rough Minds pay homage to their love of Britpop with their new single, ‘Songs Out Loud’. It owes a lot to front man Josema Ganz’s love of the British invasion, and he’s also backed up his musical style with a look to match.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Ganz has taken it a step further by calling on legendary producer and engineer, Stuart Epps, who’s worked with many legends in their right, including Led Zeppelin, George Harrison, Oasis, Elton John, and Paul Weller – among many many more.<\/p>\n

The music video for ‘Songs Out Loud’ sees the band take to the streets of Montevideo, on a gorgeous day, with digitally amplified colours transforming the scene into a technicolor dreamscape. Directed by Matias Bernad\u00e1 Monted\u00f3nico, the focus is often on Ganz and his firm hands on the fretboard of his acoustic guitar, demonstrating not just his talent and conviction, but also his dedication to his understanding of classic pop-rock compositional architecture and chord structure.<\/p>\n

‘Songs Out Loud’, like the rest of Rough Minds’ songs, has been crafted with an irresistible melody, and a refrain you can’t help but sing along to. The lyrics pay homage to the glorious songs of the 60s and 90s, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.<\/p>\n
