Last week, songstress LOONY released her brand-new single titled “raw.” The track is now available to stream on Spotify<\/a>!<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

“raw” is a combination of delicate instrumentation, smooth vocals, and captivating lyrics. The track describes the feeling of being present with someone. Truly being in the moment, and appreciating the place that this person has in your life.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When talking about the track LOONY says;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

“\u200b\u2018raw\u2019 is being in the moment with someone, and being completely clear, completely present. It\u2019s waking up beside someone and seeing them in the light of day. And I mean really seeing them. Daylight can be harsh and unforgiving – it lets you see in high definition all the things that we usually hide whenever we get the chance.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Toronto-based singer song-writer not only released an incredible new track for all your ears, but she also announced that she is working on a new music project she has named “soft thing” – which is due to be released on the 17th of June! LOONY explains that;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of songs on this next project that deals with a love that\u2019s deeper than the physical, and it\u2019s not that \u2018raw\u2019 doesn\u2019t express those same sentiments – because to love someone truly is all about going below the surface – but it\u2019s also a blatant and unapologetic celebration of that surface, a marriage of body and soul through a lover\u2019s eyes. It’s seeing someone in their raw, naked glory, seeing yourself in their reflection, and being absolutely in love with every inch of it.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
