Manny Monroig has been in the music business since the 90s, and you may well know him from his time with Brooklyn based boy band, Joyride, which later became known as Double Devotion. Now Manny is pursuing his solo career, and new single, ‘No Strings Attached’ – will hit you right in the feels – and make you laugh and dance as well!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Taking inspiration from the modern dating experience, ‘No Strings Attached’ is an upbeat R&B pop song, which also contains elements of calypso and Latin rhythms. Manny recorded the video with D.K MADE THIS, and although it was made during the height of the pandemic, they rose to the challenge, with a clip that saw Monroig get his creative juices flowing, and change the way he originally wanted to tell the story. Instead of using a wide variety of locations, the entire video is shot in and around the one apartment, making use of the hallway and balcony. There’s also a poignant reminder of the times we’re in, with the use of masks. The song is catchy, with Manny singing in both English and Spanish, and you’ll be humming the melody long after it’s finished.<\/p>\n
