The album has its roots in lockdown, with Siimon using his time to write and record, as well as demos of songs written at songwriting workshops in the past.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Siimon&#8217;s voice, breathy yet pure, evokes Chris Martin, but he still maintains his own unique style, and over the ten track record we get more than a good sense of his incredible talents. Speaking of the recording, Siimon says,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;<strong>&#8216;Cuts and Bruises&#8217;<\/strong>\u00a0became the perfect title for the album as it seemed to encompass many of the unhealed scars, unseen wounds, memories, thoughts, feelings and emotions emanating from the other tracks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The album was produced by the legendary, known for his work with the likes of\u00a0Paloma Faith, Tom Grennan, and Olly Murs, and he&#8217;s ensured that its sound is of the highest quality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Cuts and Bruises&#8217; is perhaps the perfect debut album, with the title track and third song on the album, especially serving to cement Siimon&#8217;s place in the musical pantheon.
