Irish singer songwriter, Maeve Louise Heaney, has released her brand new album, ‘Strange Life: The Music of Doubtful Faith’. The album is the result of life, prayer, doubt, and hope, and is characterised by Maeve’s gentle, sweet vocals, and gorgeous instrumentals.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A massive 14 tracks on the album each song is a celebration of the very thoughts of human lives, while providing a challenge for the listener to think about their lives. Speaking of the album, Maeve said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The album was slow in birthing, and in one way is quite diverse. Each song picks up on one aspect, challenge, or question in human life that is worth naming.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The album was recorded at The SongStore, in Victoria Australia, with production by Adrian Hannan. Essentially the record was a collective effort, with Maeve enlisting musicians from all over the world to sing with her, the result being a sense of community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although originally from Ireland, theologian Maeve Louise Heaney is currently based in Brisbane, where she has a role there at the Catholic University, and belongs to Verbum Dei (Word Of God), a young Institute of Consecrated Life. She explores life and faith through the power of music, and has been providing background information about the album and the writing and recording process, on her YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maeve Louise Heaney will be hosting a live Facebook launch party on the 6th December at 6pm local time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
