Born and raised in Russia, in the city of Rostov-on-Don, Thexele (aka Elena Selezneva) has always dreamed of a life as an entertainer, starting on piano from the age of 3, and composing music on her synthesister from when she turned 16. She has always craved the arts, and beautiful things, and although her family had financial difficulties, meaning they were unable to give her a musical education, she nonetheless took every opportunity given her to write her music.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Initially writing purely instrumental music, Thexele is now working her vocal development and expression, with ‘You’re Always On My Mind’, her debut pop single.<\/p>\n

Released 21 November, the track was recorded in Phuket, Thailand, and explores the theme of how love can consume you entirely, and is symbolic of Thexele’s real life love story. With lyrics and arrangement by Arlie Nuth, ‘You’re Always On My Mind’ is a stirring and emotional track, with a ballad style similar to that of Celine Dion.<\/p>\n

Not only is ‘You’re Always On My Mind’ the debut single for Thexele, it also marks the first time she has ever recorded in a studio. The single serves as a showcase for her passion for making music, and is merely the starting point, as she has many more songs waiting to be recorded.<\/p>\n
