Final Draft have that certain something that takes good R&B and makes it great R&B. Following in the footsteps of other greats, such as Boyz II Men, and Blackstreet, the Atlanta based trio who make up Final Draft – Lucky, Divine, and Voice – have had multiple viral videos, with views in the millions, so far. The New Kings of R&B have released break out single, ‘Started’, and show not just some serious soul, but also why so many have chosen them as their new favourite R&B group.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Infectious and seductive, ‘Started’ gets straight to the point with no hesitation, as they drop some eye popping lyrics that show that they’ve got true star power. Lucky, Divine, and Voice have the kind of charisma, sex appeal, and distinct personalities that make everything that comes out of their mouths – every single bar, turn of phrase, every note – exciting and sensual.<\/p>\n

With a very spare, percussive low-end, and lush keys the only support the group needs, Final Draft cut and turn in and out of the verses, with a couple of high notes here, a whisper there, as natural as if they’re born to it. And maybe they are.<\/p>\n

The music video for ‘Started’, directed by Eliot Xavier, uses a classic shoot within a shoot narrative, which kicks off an unexpected courtship between co-workers, the photographer and business rep. We are BTS at a Final Draft photo shoot, and the trio are bringing the pair together, even without the assistance of their honey sweet vocals. The starry eyed lovers go outside the studio, kicking back on the swings at a local park, while Lucky, Divine, and Voice are walking around singing. The chemistry between the pair becomes more than obvious.<\/p>\n
