We’ve been writing about Justina Valentine for years now, from the Eastern-vibed hip-hop of ‘Suga Daddy’, back in 2016, to July this year, with her singles, ‘Hide & Seek’, and ‘Just Spit It’. The flame-haired singer, who’s also found fame on TV, as a regular cast member of the hit MTV show ‘Wild ‘N Out’, as well as an MTV fan favourite with appearances on ‘TRL’, ‘How Far is Tattoo Far’, and ‘Revenge Prank’, plus hosting reunions for ‘The Challenge’, ‘Jersey Shore’, and ‘Ex on the Beach’. It’s music that’s her true love however, and her latest single, ‘Lucky You’, takes Justina, and her fans, further than ever before.

The video for ‘Lucky You’ sees Justina in space, but in keeping with her previous releases, it’s with a sexy difference. ‘Lucky You’ sees resident in a far off galaxy where anything can happen – and if she’s got anything to do with it, probably will.

Complete with silver metallic outfits and moon boots, plus a few other outfits designed to satisfy any fella’s wildest dreams, Justina is dressed to kill and makes no bones that she’s in control. The song is lightly hip-hop in nature, but owes more to pop, and with its head-nodding beat, teasing hook, and repeated exclamation of, “Oh my God”, Justina guarantees to hook her listeners and keep them there. On top of the charismatic track, there’s an accompanying dance, which sees Justina take on the roles of doctor, cop, chef, and seductress; all of whom are doing their thang for the erstwhile space traveller who seems only too happy to settle down in the spaceport she’s created.
