EDM pop artist Damon Fletcher has released his fresh new single, ‘2 Miles’, inspired by his love for travel and itchy feet wanting to get out there. The fast paced track leaps out of the box with its high energy, the opening notes calling to mind other dance tracks (we get a hint of Kesha) while the sound is all Damon’s own.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

If you’re like me and you love to travel, then you can relate to just how different this year has been. We’re all grounded, staying safe, and Damon Fletcher is similarly infected by the wanderlust, and knows this all too well. His new single ‘2 Miles’ conveys the excitement of travel, the sheer joy of sitting on the runway, with the hopes and optimism at the prospect of a new place to explore.<\/p>\n

Lockdown due to Covid-19 has given Fletcher the impetus to start a music career, and he takes his inspiration from the likes of Usher, and Timberland. It’s hard to believe he’s not been around as an artist before 2020, and perhaps this can be attributed to the fact he did research before starting, reading books by his favourite musical artists, and watching Masterclass. Even more remarkable is that he’s not only sung the tracks (‘2 Miles’ is the follow up to his debut, ‘Hustle With A Purpose’, which he released earlier this year), but he’s also produced them, as well as written and composed all musical and lyrical content.<\/p>\n
