Kadeema take the Elton John classic, ‘I’m Still Standing’, and turn it completely upside down and inside out – and you know what? It rocks!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

If you’re expecting this song to be a piano track, think again. It’s full on rock guitars, coming out at you snarling. It’s cheeky Status Quo style guitars meeting those oh so familiar lyrics, crossed with a little bit of grunge. From first listen you’ll find a smile sneaking to your lips as, if like me, you sing along knowing the lyrics word for word. I really hope Sir Elton John gets a kick out of this and throws his support behind it!<\/p>\n

Speaking about how they came to record the track, Kadeema – comprising Jimmy and Tal “with a little bit of Isaac thrown in for good measure”, said,<\/p>\n

“Covering this song was an idea that popped into our heads at a time when both of us were experiencing the end of a very significant era in our lives.<\/p>\n

“We went through a fair share of personal trials and tribulations, but were able to come out stronger at the other end of it.<\/p>\n

“To feel like you’re still standing, better than you ever did was a sentiment we felt very strongly about at the time, so it was an easy choice. It’s also such an amazing song by one of greatest to ever do it.<\/p>\n

“Why not pay tribute in our own way to the Rocket Man himself?”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It’s a great song to vibe to in these uncertain times – we’re still standing, better than we ever did.<\/p>\n
