Global pop icon\u00a0Kesha\u00a0is taking her fans to her 360\u00b0 spaceship for her MelodyVR concert debut. Her stripped back show includes newer hits from her latest album\u00a0High Road, released in\u00a0January this year,\u00a0as well as the\u00a0iconic record\u00a0Rainbow including\u00a0\u2018Praying\u2019 and\u00a0its title track\u00a0\u2018Rainbow’,\u00a0dedicated to her LGBTQ+ Animals. She ends the set with a huge club banger \u2018We R Who We R\u2019 from\u00a0Cannibal,\u00a0which turns 10 this year!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Kesha\u2019s latest album’ High Road<\/a>‘ (released in January via Kemosabe\/RCA Records) was called a body of work \u201cwise and wild in equal measure\u201d (Billboard), that \u201celectrifies from the inside out\u201d (American Songwriter) and \u201cstrikes a believable balance between vulnerability and the bluster she made her name on\u201d (Stereogum).<\/p>\n

The intimate show, a part of MelodyVR\u2019s \u2018Live From LA\u2019 series, is available from 13th August at 11pm BST for free via the MelodyVR app<\/a>\u00a0on smartphones and VR headsets.<\/p>\n

Through MelodyVR\u2019s cutting-edge camera and production technology, an international at-home audience will be transported to its state-of-the-art Los Angeles studio space to join the exclusive 360\u00b0 performance. Viewers can choose their vantage point, and virtually dance along with Kesha as she plays hits like ‘We R Who We R’, ‘Raising Hell’, and ‘Rainbow’, dedicated to her LGBTQ+ Animals. Kesha will bring her high energy spirit to this immersive, intimate show, and deliver an experience to her fans like they\u2019ve never seen before.<\/p>\n

MelodyVR\u2019s ‘Live from LA’ series has been developed to provide music lovers with incredible up-close sets from their favourite artists, while maintaining the highest levels of safety for both performers and crew. Artists featured so far include John Legend, Cypress Hill, Katelyn Tarver, Zella Day, JoJo and Nelly, with more to be announced. In July, MelodyVR partnered with Festival Republic on Wireless Connect, a virtual version of London\u2019s long-running Wireless Festival. Featuring 360\u00b0 VR performances from 70 artists out of London and L.A., fans tuned in from more than 34 countries.
