Mexican producer Gior Em’s latest single, ‘Na Na’, is a catchy and highly entertaining track, which explores the darker elements of the impact of Covid-19.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

An experimental dance track, making good use of swirling synths and club-ready electronic music, as well as guitar, it has a vibe vaguely reminiscent of the Fat Boy Slim classic, ‘Right Here, Right Now’, as it moves from light to dark and then back again. The track opens with a gentle synth before merging with guitar, and then giving over to more industrial sounds. Gior Em expresses his hope for the future, with a robotic sounding vocal. It explores the negative impact on society created by the extended lockdown, while eminating a peaceful vibe through the use of strings.<\/p>\n

Gior Em started in music at the tender age of 12 in Mexico City, when he would DJ at large parties, and competing in national competitions. He did this for three years, and now, still only 17 years old, he’s focusing on releasing his own music to tell stories, pushing himself with each new release, to give the listener something new to take hold of. He’s appeared on radio stations, such as EXA 98.3 in El Paso, Texas, where he performed on the programme ‘Space Gigs’.<\/p>\n
