If you’re someone who’s moved to London from somewhere else, particularly if you’ve come from abroad (puts hand up!), then you’ll appreciate the debut single, ‘London’, from writing duo Muca & La Marquise.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Written from the POV of two foreigners who’ve settled in London and fallen in love with the original city that never sleeps, ‘London’ is upbeat and summer-infused, with a fun and jangly guitar, and thumping double bass, accompanied by gorgeously emotive vocals, emotive of Stine from Alphabeat (who themselves found have quite a love for London). There’s a lot of name-checking of suburbs and locations, and you instantly feel relaxed.<\/p>\n

There’s an equally lovely video to go with the track, animated by Clara Santos, which further gives illustration to the love affair Muca & La Marquise have with London.<\/p>\n

Muca & La Marquise is a project from London-based songwriter and produer Muca, with ‘London’ the first single from the upcoming album, expected to be released early next year.<\/p>\n
