Their new single, &#8216;Guess Who&#8217;s Coming To Dinner&#8217;, from their upcoming album, &#8216;Culture Shock Treatment&#8217;, is a raging typhoon of ferocious guitars and freaking good sax.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Loud, very loud, and yet INCREDIBLY catchy, &#8216;Guess Who&#8217;s Coming To Dinner&#8217; is accompanied by an at times hilarious music video, focusing on a fish-out-of-water tale of a Caucasian man who meets his Chinese girlfriend&#8217;s family for the first time. The family&#8217;s unorthodox dining manners make the meeting less &#8220;culture shock&#8221; than &#8220;culture shock treament&#8221; (get it?).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Round Eye have of course been compared to punk and proto-punk bands such as The Stooges, and The Fall, but they&#8217;re really their very own beast, forging their east-meets-west path. This summer was meant to see them touring Europe, Japan, and China, including an appearance at Rebellion Festival in the UK, but this has had to be delayed until 2021 due to Covid-19. All is not lost however, as they are set to release their new album, &#8216;Culture Shock Treatment&#8217; on July 3, along with two new music videos, and performances at select dates in Mainland China.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Guess Who&#8217;s Coming To Dinner&#8217; is out today. &#8216;Culture Shock Treatment&#8217; is set for release July 3 through Paper + Plastick Records.
