Linda &#8220;Peaches&#8221; Tavani, is one half of 70s\/80s hit machine Peaches &amp; Herb, who smashed the charts with singles including &#8216;Reunited&#8217;, &#8216;I Pledge My Love&#8217;, and &#8216;Shake Your Groove Thing&#8217;, among many others.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Peaches &amp; Herb sold over 9 million records, with three number 1 hits, and a Grammy Award nomination. Their influence has therefore been huge in the music world, and even now, any time you hear a slow-burner of a soul anthem on the radio, or a track by a pop artist whose sound comes somewhere between hot funk and cool RnB, or even a modern dance track which clearly owes a debt to the classic disco sound &#8211; they&#8217;ve taken their inspiration from Linda &#8220;Peaches&#8221; Tavani.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although Peaches &amp; Herb broke up in the mid-80s, Linda Tavani has kept on making music, crossing over into gospel. She also co-founded the WOW (Winning Our World) Foundation, whose charity provides food for millions of people all over the planet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Linda&#8217;s latest single, &#8216;Give Me Love&#8217;, finds its roots deep in gospel, while the harmonies have their origin in modern pop. There&#8217;s even some solid rock backing up her sound.
