The grandeur of the space \u2013 the museum\u2019s Morris Room, built in 1868 and named for famed Victorian designer William Morris \u2013 is a fitting match for her impressive vocal ability and underscores the renaissance themes of her new EP. This song is about pain and loss, but also about choosing to love yourself instead of that person and picking your own well-being over theirs. The lyric \u2018I gotta whole lot of time on my hands but just none for you\u2019 sums up the concept of this song.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;None For You&#8217; is the follow-up to Young&#8217;s previous single, &#8216;Pick Me Up&#8217;, which was prominently featured on numerous playlists, including Spotify\u2019s U.S. and U.K. New Music Friday, Tidal\u2019s Rising (earning the cover and the #1 spot), Amazon Music\u2019s Chill Generation, placing at #1 in the U.S. and U.K., and Apple\u2019s New Music Daily. Hailing the song as a \u201cbruising breakup anthem, Idolator declared, \u201cYoung cements her status as one of 2020\u2019s most exciting new talents.\u201d Billboard praised the \u201cvelvet-voiced Lola Young\u201d in its premiere of the official video for &#8216;Pick Me Up&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Drawing on a unique gift for writing songs that encapsulate and explore the human condition, Young turns extremely personal emotions into songs that resonate with universal truths.
