The track follows on directly from her most recent single, &#8216;Compromise&#8217;.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Using metaphoric imagery, the music video brings to life all the themes in the upbeat pop track. Speaking of the song, Wendy said,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The song is about an assertive woman who knows what she wants and will strive to get it. She is trying to attract the attention of a man she likes but feels he is not showing enough attention to her or is merely acting too cool. She is the fire that can melt his icy demeanour. She is telling him indirectly to step up the base and cut to the chase otherwise she will be gone.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SfGiqslal-4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The clip shows a group of people in a dishevelled mansion, gathered together for an art event. They move to a room with an indoor swimming pool, which appears to be empty. A man brushes a woman&#8217;s hand, she recoils. Suddenly she&#8217;s in the pool &#8211; which is by now filled with water. He is too &#8211; they are floundering, struggling, separately, but quickly realise they&#8217;re better off working together. The scene changes to a nightclub, and it&#8217;s as if nothing has happened. The worlds of business and pleasure are linked yet separate, and are brought together with Wendy Halo&#8217;s smooth vocals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The video for &#8216;Fire And Ice&#8217; could well be an analogy for Wendy Halo herself, who got off the rat race of corporate London, and moved to Marbella, where she&#8217;s been able to work on her music career, which pulls influence from RnB to Jazz, and of course Pop. Wendy Halo&#8217;s certainly no musical novice; she comes from a family of gospel singers, and her songs tell a story which is well presented by her gorgeous vocals. Wendy Halo will be bringing out her debut EP later this year, on which she&#8217;s been working with producer Dapo Torimiro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Fire And Ice&#8217; is out tomorrow, March 16.
