Keith Richards releases a limited edition red vinyl 7\u201d for this year\u2019s Record Store Day, April 18, with the classic tracks \u2018Hate It When You Leave\u2019 and a bluesy cover of \u2018Key To The Highway\u2019.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This is the second Keith Richards\u2019 Record Store Day release, and follows the glorious \u2018Run Run Rudolph\u2019 in 2017.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThank god record stores still exist! They should be cherished,\u201d Keith said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u2018Hate It When You Leave\u2019 is taken from Keith\u2019s second solo album \u2018Main Offender\u2019 released in 1992, produced and written with his
\nX-Pensive Wino comrades Steve Jordan and Waddy Wachtel.<\/p>\n

\u2018Key To The Highway\u2019 is extremely rare having only been released on the Japanese version of \u2018Main Offender\u2019. First recorded by Charlie Segar in 1940, the Big Bill Broonzy version is better known.<\/p>\n

\u2018Main Offender\u2019 followed the release of Keith\u2019s first solo album \u2018Talk Is Cheap\u2019 and was recorded with the X-Pensive Winos in California and New York.<\/p>\n
