Cheltenham’s Wychwood Festival, held 29-31 May, have made their second line up announcement, with still more to come!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Wrap your arms around the ones you love on Friday night as Embrace will be headlining the main stage, performing great favourites such as \u2018All You Good, Good People\u2019, \u2018Come Back To What You Know\u2019, \u2018My Weakness\u2019, \u2018Gravity\u2019, \u2018Natures Law\u2019, \u2018World at Your Feet\u2019\u2026 so many brilliant hits over two decades. Last year the band celebrated their coming of age\u00a0 – 21 years since the release of their number 1 debut album, \u2019The Good Will Out\u2019.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, getting us ready for the Euros 2020, The Lightning Seeds will be holding court on the main stage. The band had many top 40 hits throughout the 90\u2019s, but are best known for the \u20183 Lions\u2019\u00a0 England Team theme tune, which reached number 1 twice in 1996 and 1998, with guests Frank Skinner and David Baddiel, who always had an uncanny resemblance to Ian Broudie, the bands lead singer!<\/p>\n

Embrace, The Lightning Seeds, and previously announced Saturday headliners The Divine Comedy will be joined by Mercury nominee. and folk singer Seth Lakeman, fellow 90s Brit Pop legends Sleeper, (who made consistent chart appearances throughout the 80s, with 8 Top 40 singles and 3 Top 10 albums), and\u00a0 Tankus The Henge, a cult London band, known for their wild showmanship, musical dexterity and a relentless touring schedule. They have a unique style which they term \u201cGonzo Rock ‘n’ Roll”; with influences from New Orleans Jazz, Psych & 70\u2019s Funk.<\/p>\n

The festival is also proud of their brilliant comedy line up this year with Kerrang\u2019s favourite rock comedian Andrew ONeill, along with Chortle Best Newcomer winner Daisy Earl, plus Cerys Nelmes, Jenny Collier, David Eagle, El Baldhiniho, Jon Wagstaffe, Nick Page, Andrew Bird & Karen Bayley.<\/p>\n

Wychwood always brings new discoveries, world and fusion music, and established performers, plus award winning family activities, workshops, arts, kids entertainment, dance & comedy.<\/p>\n

While there are more acts to come, in addition to today’s revelation, the previously announced acts include Dreadzone, The Christians, Craig Charles, and Basil Brush, alongside new additions to the bill\u00a0 Josh O\u2019Keefe, Folk On, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, The Rajhastan Heritage Brass Band,\u00a0 John Leather\u2019s 80\u2019s Movie Disco, and local favourites Thrill Collins, who are programming The Hobgoblin (*beer sponsor) stage, inviting their friends Funky Business, Wrapped In Cheese, Way Out West and Roguey Roads to join in the shindig!<\/p>\n

Early Bird Tickets are already sold out, while day and weekend tickets are now on sale with a few more surprises to be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

The Gloucestershire festival crowd have no need to don their wellies for some shoe-gazing as Wychwood is probably one of the least muddy festivals to enjoy, situated on Cheltenham racecourse with fabulous facilities for all weather and is easily accessible from Cheltenham town centre.<\/p>\n

Weekend festival goers can enjoy a range of on-site camping, local accommodation & good transport links, whilst local attendees have the option to enjoy weekend or day tickets. Children under 5 go for free.<\/p>\n

An independent festival, established for 16 years, the much loved, Wychwood Festival is a family favourite bringing together a plethora of incredible entertainment for everyone to enjoy including more than 100 acts performing across four stages.<\/p>\n

The festival hosts many family friendly workshops which include: Model Making Drumming Workshops, Circus Skills, Kids Yoga, Street Theatre, Silly Sports and Games plus the usual mix of Dance, Song, Arts, Crafts, Circus, Comedy, Puppet workshops & much more.<\/p>\n
