What would you say if you could write a letter to your younger self? Natalie Major does just that in the video for her new single, ‘The Moon’, directed by Michael Gabriele.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Natalie comes face to face with her memories, and shares a message of hope, tenacity, and self-confidence. The clip shows Natalie along with a young girl, barefoot and with a teddy bear, played by child actor Rylee Jane Cummings. The little girl has a heavy heart, and the two of them are by themselves in a huge house that’s filled with memories of the past; antiques, and ghosts. Natalie’s voice is the saving grace for the pair – the only one. The viewer is asked to consider who the young girl is – could it be Major herself?<\/p>\n

‘The Moon’ is the title track for Natalie Major’s upcoming EP, and is a ballad that established artists would be proud to produce. In the video, she has an intensity that while on the one hand is quite mesmerising, it’s also very comforting at the same time. As she loses herself in the reverie of song, as well as by her own compassion for the young girl, that yes, she used to be, we see her transported to a tiny table, where the younger girl pretends to serve tea. Natalie can’t be seen by her younger self; but nonetheless her care and guardianship is felt.<\/p>\n
