New Jersey Hip-Hop artist Eli Seeney has officially announced his return to the fray, bringing\u00a0a signature sound to fans with the release of his long-awaited debut, entitled\u00a0New Day: The Album<\/a>. The full-length project is a follow-up to 2016\u2019s\u00a0‘New Day EP’,\u00a0and was released on December 26th, 2019.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\"\"\n\n

New Day: The Album’\u00a0is composed of 13 tracks ranging from true classic Hip-Hop vibes like on the crowd-favourite\u00a0title track ‘New Day’, to the crossover smash, ‘Careful What You Wish For’, and ‘Pretty Little Hate Machine’, a genre-bending electric guitar-driven trap banger produced by Eddro, with a contribution from guitarist Colby Givin.<\/p>\n\n

While each song varies in tone, they all are originals and circle back to one universal theme.<\/p>\n\n

The new project includes ‘Holy Ghost’, a Hip-Hop ballad featuring the angelic vocals of Majii (FKA Marrissa Joy) and M11son (FKA Got Mason) with Eli\u2019s own cousin Longevity providing the sounds. Also featuring on the album are Philly Hip-Hop mainstay Nico the Beast, head of the underground rap super-group 30 and Over League, and Shirley Green frontwoman Alixe Rheeve who blesses the album with her sultry\u00a0vocals.<\/p>\n\n\"\"\n\n

‘New Day: The Album’ has such a different tone in each of the songs, giving it that authentic, but hip-hop feels to the album.The album all links together, like a story, with the first song, ‘My Name is Eli’, through to the last, ‘Trouble Sleeping.’ The collaborations on the album all bring something different, with their unique and authentic voices giving it the hip hop vibe that Eli wanted to get across in his record. The song, ‘Careful What You Wish For’, with Alixe Rheeve, starts with Alixe’s vocals, an electro, soulful voice to begin the track, which I really enjoyed. If you enjoy hip hop you will love this album from Eli Seeney!<\/p>\n\n
