Chinese born Lian Tong draws on his love of the 1960s American sound in his latest single, ‘I Do Love You’, set for release on December 19. With vocals by Josh Witt, Lian Tong has created a near perfect pop love song, by blending a punchy 808 beat with emotive lyrics.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Not only that, but by the addition of strings and harmonies, he has given the track a festive feel appropriate for the season, with the end result a song which evokes feelings of joy. It’s an upbeat, happy, altogether lovely song, which will have you not just tapping your feet, but singing along, and maybe even getting up and dancing.<\/p>\n

Nian Tong’s love of music from the 60s, such as that of The Beach Boys, is evident in this track, and it should come as no surprise that he also counts among his influences the likes of Pharrell Williams and Mark Ronson. Beyond the 60s influence, and those artists previously mentioned, the single is reminiscent of the likes of UK artists of the 70s such as Gilbert O’Sullivan, and Leo Sayer. There’s even hints of The Beatles in there.<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first collaboration for Nian Tong and Josh Witt, the pair have worked together on two of Nian Tong’s previous releases, ‘Meet You Right Away’, and ‘There Goes A Little Feelin”.<\/p>\n
