Idolising Nova is a 3 piece indie boyband made up of Jack (bass and lead vocals)<\/strong>, \u00a0Kris Lee (guitar & keyboard), and Kyle O\u2019Sullivan (drums & backing vocals). They played their first gig in June 2016 at The Voodoo Lounge in Stamford, near Peterborough with the 120 tickets selling out well in advance.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

On 27th September, Idolising Nova released ‘Party Through The Night’, a new track produced by\u00a0David P Goodes\u00a0and released through\u00a0Yada Yada Records, which is the band\u2019s first label release. The new release was announced via\u00a0Phillip Schofield\u00a0on\u00a0ITVs ‘This Morning’,\u00a0followed by the full track being played. Phillip Schofield also tweeted the band saying that he \u201cloved the track\u201d.<\/p>\n

Amy Bell spoke to Idolising Nova about ‘Party Through The Night’ and their 2020 plans.<\/p>\n

Hi guys, thank you for chatting to Essentially Pop, how are you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello! We\u2019re all good thanks! HOW CAN YOU NOT BE GOOD WHEN IT\u2019S CHRISTMAS THIS MONTH?<\/p>\n

Your new song ‘Party Through The Night’ is such a good vibe, can you talk to us a bit more about the song?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank you! The track is all about how you go through your everyday life at school, college, work etc, thinking about how you just wanna go out and have fun with your mates…the weekend comes, you have fun with your mates, then you go your separate ways, back to reality, your everyday life.<\/p>\n

What inspired you to write this song?
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Literally going through the above scenario at work…thinking about the weekend, buzzing for a night out with my mates, then Monday comes and it\u2019s back to reality! So yeah, that feeling inspired us to write this track.<\/p>\n

What was the recording and writing process like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The whole process was great! We fired some ideas over to each other (mainly WhatsApp voice notes), then we recorded a demo in Kris\u2019 bedroom. We then took it into the studio with a really cool guy called David Goodes. We bounced more ideas off each other and ended up with this bop!<\/p>\n

Any plans for any tours?
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are really keen for some support tours in 2020, but nothing confirmed at the moment. We are playing at Camden Assembly in London on Saturday 1st February though, which will be fun!<\/p>\n

Does the new single mean any EPs on the horizon?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not necessarily an EP, but definitely more music real soon!<\/p>\n

What message do you want listeners to take away from \u2018Party Through The Night\u2019?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I guess the message is that we all get that feeling every now and then where we don\u2019t want to be doing what we\u2019re doing – but we\u2019ve just got to make the most of it when we can do what we want to be doing, like having fun with your mates! MAKE THE MOST OF THE WEEKENDS PEOPLE!<\/p>\n

What has been your biggest memory in 2019?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Playing in Paris and seeing people sing our songs back to us was amazing!<\/p>\n

New music and hopefully lots of live shows, all around the world!<\/p>\n
