Washington DCs Bencoolen premiered their latest single, ‘Give It Up’, in Vents Magazine. The follow up to their cover of Tom Misch’s song, ‘Beautiful Escape<\/a>‘, which was released in September, the new track also features a video shot in-studio, and the clip starts with black and white shots before transitioning into full colour, as the band establish the pace of the song.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

With a distinctive blend of funk and soul meets rock, Bencoolen’s sound results in a spark that takes off, particularly on stage. It’s this cohesive electricity, if you will, of their instruments – drums, guitar, bass, and saxophone, each interlocking while maintaining their individual elements – which has given them the reputation for being an unmissable event on the DC live music scene.<\/p>\n
