The song comes from a place of &#8220;intentional vulnerability&#8221; &#8211; allowing yourself to be loved, and accept that hurt is part of that. Beso says,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;It\u2019s about struggling to let my walls down in a relationship&#8221;, she says. The song offers self guidance for\u00a0Rebelde, offering herself a chance to open up to be &#8220;hurt, loved and to let the music take me over.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Neon&#8217; is a pulsating dance anthem, the Latin rhythms reflecting her culure: born in San Francisco, Beso has Mexican, Guatemalan, and Spanish heritage, and all of these have inspired her music, giving it an upbeat, dance-y style.
