ROZES"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Flawes was formed by frontman Josh Carruthers &#8211; aka JC &#8211; back in the summer of 2015. JC, and Josh Hussey, aka Huss, who plays drums, were friends from their childhood in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, and each had moved to London &#8211; independent of the other &#8211; after spending time in various bands throughout their teens. JC toured for two years as part of Ella Eyre&#8217;s band; she was so impressed with him that she booked him as her support &#8211; for her upcoming tour&#8230;in three months. This proved a bit of a quandary for JC, who realised he&#8217;d better very quickly get a band together. Meeting up with Huss completely by chance sealed the deal on his involvement, and a further introduction to Twickenham-based guitarist Freddie Edwards, and a single rehearsal, saw the genesis of Flawes as a real band. Phew.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- Random Ad stuff --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-ad-slot=\"3107208401\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2076862002005673\"><\/ins><\/p>\n<p><script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">BBC Introducing decided that their lead single, &#8216;Don&#8217;t Wait For Me&#8217;, was worthy of their Record Of The Week slot on Radio 1, and consequently it rose to the 8th spot on Spotify&#8217;s Viral Chart, as well as being chosen for the trailers of US TV series, &#8216;Lie To Me&#8217;. What then followed was a blur of activity resulting from their new fame, including shows, airports, festivals, and not to forget songwriting &#8211; with much more music to come.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Flawes&#8217; most recent release, &#8216;Ghost Town&#8217;, features Philly alt-pop singer ROZES. The video for the track is directed by Dan Centrone, and it&#8217;s a haunting reminder that even when someone is close, our connection can feel worlds apart. The clip is set in a blue, smoke-filled room, opening with JC holding a ring in his hand. He and ROZES sing of a romance that&#8217;s become distant, all the while flipping through scrapbooks and writing in journals.
