The song states that at the beginning of her relationship, she was the one doing the pursuing as she felt they had a connection. She describes it as \u201ca funny game of tug of war\u201d yet once she was able to win him over, he met her in the middle. Together, the three of them were able to successfully combine their talents, creating the perfect song to dance to.
