Now the singer songwriter, originally from Galway, in the very west of Ireland, returns with her new single, &#8216;Seriously?&#8217;, taken from her most recent EP, &#8216;Mad&#8217;.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- Random Ad stuff --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-ad-slot=\"3107208401\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2076862002005673\"><\/ins><\/p>\n<p><script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Seriously?&#8217; out today, July 26, is accompanied by a playful video, which allows the viewer to take a look into the colourful mind of Laoise. &#8216;Seriously?&#8217; was co-written by Laoise, along with Se\u00e1n Behan and Richey McCourt, the latter who has also written for Will Young, Matt Cardle, Pixie Lott, and Rebecca Ferguson, among others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The video makes use of both live action and animation, and is fun with a serious edge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking of &#8216;Seriously?&#8217;, Laoise says,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSeriously? is about that feeling when you really, really like someone and you don\u2019t know how tell them but you keep dropping hints and they don\u2019t pick up on them and you\u2019re like \u2018seriously?\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It actually made me think about the first time I liked a girl, and she just thought we were just really close friends! When I was writing it, it was the middle of the winter and the weather was horrible, but I kept imagining the feeling of summer and what that would sound like in a song. To me, it feels like driving down a highway with the top down, mixed with the taste of fruit punch and the smell of sun cream. It\u2019s the feeling you have when you\u2019re not worrying about anything other someone liking you back, which I think is something we\u2019ve all felt, especially when we\u2019re younger and carefree.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Laoise&#8217;s music is dreamy, ambitious and quite frank, writing about relationships and heartbreak, with introspective lyrics and an upbeat synth\/electro instrumentation.
