The primary focus on the record is love in its many forms, with a reminder that we should not just love others, but also love ourselves, and draws from her own personal experiences. &#8216;Nadette Vol 1&#8217;, with its promise of more to come, is a totally relatable release, with the songs covering situations we&#8217;ve all been in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nadette found inspiration far and wide, but particularly in the music of Prince, Marvin Gaye, Daft Punk, and &#8211; surprisingly until you realise she&#8217;s previously covered Marvin Gaye&#8217;s &#8216;Sexual Healing&#8217; herself &#8211; Kate Bush.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nadette is based in Manchester, where she has found support on BBC Radio Manchester. The EP was initially started in her bedroom studio, before being professionally finished. &#8216;Nadette Vol 1&#8217; serves as a teaser for what she has lined up for the future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Nadette Vol 1&#8217; is available to stream and download across all major digital media.
